- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Ended up in A&E on Thursday 14/09/2017 into early hours of Friday 15/09/2017 with post operative bleeding. The wait wasn't too bad, but there was other patients fighting in the waiting room which security promptly removed. The reason for 5* - I was seen to by a nurse called Isabella, who was absolutely amazing and so friendly even in the early hours of a busy night in A&E. I really hope she gets the recognition she deserves as I've not experienced kindness like hers in a long time whilst being in hospital.by katie hornerMarch 24, 2017
- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪**DISGUSTING HOSPITAL**The stroke unit has a nasty reputation with their staff stealing from vulnerable patients. My mother was taken in since July, no adequate care for her, tried to get rid of her so quickly. Staff on that ward stole her brand new slippers, brand new towel robe and most shocking of all we have just discovered her body cream, Aveeno was also stolen recently. The ward manager is EXTREMELY RUDE, no courtesy, very unprofessional. The most annoying thing is the lack of communication. My mother was carted off to the nursing home almost without the knowledge of the family. If ever you have a patient admitted on ward 2Y please ensure you mark your belongings because there is a thief or thieves within the staff stealing from vulnerable patients. Thank God my mother is in a better and stable environment away from this useless hospital. I have never in my life experienced such insolence. I cannot stress enough, please avoid this hospital if you can, the stroke unit especially. There is also a very unprofessional doctor who insults does not know how to address families.
